Motivate. Study. Play and develop!

Modern parents enrol the child in various clubs of early development quite from cradle in order to raise a future genius. This modern wave has captured the world in such a way that adults sometimes even do not pay attention to the preferences of the child and bring the child to the lessons of hateful mathematics or force to attend a drawing club only because they once dreamed to become an artist.

Later the child loses interest not only to the activities chosen by the parents but also to study in general. Every methods and techniques are used by the parents! Blackmailing, scaremongering and rewards in the form of gifts, all sorts of rewards and sweets, but the child does not have the most important driving force – internal motivation. Only it stimulates the humanity starting from early childhood.

The child that becomes the first-grader has to go through full-value childhood and to mature.  To do this he/she needs to play for long enough. It sounds strange but modern children lack the time to simply play. Many first-graders do not have sufficiently developed motor functions of the brain that give the possibility for the child to sit, to be attentive and to perceive information. The child does not make the progress that the parents are expecting and they show their dissatisfaction. The steep demands in this age paralyze the will of the child, he/she begins to understand that love of the adults is not unconditional, but depends on his/her successes. Parents and sometimes teachers instead of supporting the child and praising do the opposite and the child does not have motivation: the child becomes discouraged and is disappointed in the school process. That is why early development of children should take place in the form of the game, not in the educational process. It is important to develop self-confidence in the child, to encourage and praise for achievements. Do not criticize and do not try to do everything instead of the child. Give the time for the baby to erect the meccano or to put the puzzle together by himself/herself, help only if the baby asks for it. You have to know how to praise correctly. It is not enough just to say to the child: "Good girl/Good boy!" When you praise for the work, the child should feel that you are not just looking at him/her but also see what is depicted. It is important to note the details, which you have noticed, in such a way your interest will be obvious and the child will want to repeat this pleasant experience.

Read to the children. And always emphasize how good it is to be able to read! How many interesting things can be learned from books. The child at the subconscious level will want to learn how to read. Buy the toys with letters and numbers. Pronounce them and give them to the baby and after a while pretend that you cannot find the letter “A” and your clever child will quickly find this letter of the alphabet! Also in the form of a game you can study numbers and colors and even begin to syllable and then to spell the words. Make the learning process interesting and exciting in early childhood, be glad even for the slightest success and this excited sense of victory will help the future pupil in the tests.

It is important to see the individuality in the child. Your son or daughter is not your little copy. And they may not like the gym or the piano. And maybe they will love math, though you have loved humanities all your life. Let the kid make his/her own choice. Start from early childhood: choose toys together. You can shop at the store or buy a toy online. Let it be the child's choice. Do not abuse the child if the baby suddenly stubbornly asks for a toy that you do not like. Later the pupil will not be afraid to express opinions about clubs and to choose lessons for himself/herself. If you begin to see a personality in the child, believe in his/her strength, properly motivate - it will always bear fruits and you will be proud of a happy and successful person!
